Although there is no formal publication of the Hopper drawings, “Study for Cape Cod Morning” is illustrated in Gail Levin's catalogue raisonné opposite the oil for which it is a study. Copies of relevant correspondence between Levin and the Baers in regard to this drawing and “Cape Road", lot 64, are included with both.
