Alfred Leslie has had numerous solo exhibitions, including those at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, The Hirshhorn Museum and the Art Institute of Chicago. "Drifting Snow Near Boston Harbor" is part of "100 Views Along The Road", a series of watercolor landscapes based on drawings from Leslie's road trips during 1981-1983. This work was part of an exhibition that toured nationally in 1983-5, and "Drifting Snow Near Boston Harbor" was shown in eight exhibitions
